Usher Raymond IV is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer who was born on October 14, 1978. Usher (1994), his self-titled debut album, was his main R&B release. He gained notoriety in the late 1990s with the release of his second album, My Way (1997). It gave birth to “Nice & Slow,” which peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, as well as the top-two songs “You Make Me Want to” and “My Way.” The number-one singles “U Remind Me” and “U Got It Bad” as well as the top-three single “U Don’t Have to Call” were off of his third album, 8701 (2001).
